COVID-19 Information
The safety and wellbeing of our patients, staff and doctors is always our highest priority.
COVID-19 impacted our patients, staff and hospitals in recent years, with a number of measures implemented in line with advice available at the time. Whilst the prevalence of COVID-19 in the community has significantly reduced, it is important that we all work together to keep our hospital safe. As such, please note that these guidelines may change at short notice.
COVID-19 testing
If you have any COVID-19 symptoms, please ensure that you undergo a COVID-19 test (RAT or PCR) prior to your admission. Where a COVID-19 result is positive, please contact the hospital and Doctors rooms by phone in the first instance. A discussion with your treating Doctor will occur to determine next steps.
Patients who have recently recovered from COVID-19
If you have recently recovered from COVID-19 and are due for admission, please notify your treating Doctor as soon as possible. Your treating Doctor may recommend that your admission is rescheduled.
Personal Protective Equipment
Masks are not currently required within our hospitals, however should you prefer to wear a mask, you are welcome to do so.
What happens if there is a case of COVID-19 within the hospital during my stay?
If a patient exhibits COVID-19 symptoms during their stay, and becomes a suspect case, we are very well-prepared to manage them and have planned for this eventuality.
